I gave it thought after you asked me about this earlier this afternoon.

I realise that you have a different approach to how I designed my site, but I think that maybe you should divide this site into seperate pages - your links on a separate page, your reading, listening and watching section as part of a different page etc - can you see a pattern emerging?

You could also maybe divide the blog up even further - some days you only put in a short entry, then on other days you write a novella or make two or three entries. Breaking them up or not writing huge entries might help the clutter.

I liked the way the old Colon Parenthesis site didn't try to stick everything on the one page.

These are just my thoughts though - I still enjoy coming here and reading it all.

I can see where Kevin is coming from with what he said about the long posts ... is there a way you can get MT to cut off your posts after a certain length, and have it do a Read the rest of this post... type thing?
That would be a step towards what he was talking about.
Also, I don't think the screen is cluttered, but then, I run at 1280x1024 ... so nuffin looks cluttered to me, except possibly, phalacee.com. heh. Anyway, another alternative to what Kevin said about the links page and all that might be to have on the menu, and clicking there drops down the section underneath it, kinda like the "Products" section here.

It would allow you to have everything you want on the front page, without it taking up all the realestate.

I love the sites you create man, seriously, they inspire me to make sites that don't take days to load. heh. I wouldn't want you to change this site, or any other you have made, but if you are gonna try what Kevin has said, give my methods of doing it a try first, see if you prefer them.

merness ... lack of html in posts ... grrr!!!

-- the "Read the rest of this post..." thing was meant to be a link to http://www.bananasontoast.org/archives/000258.html

-- "and all that might be to have on the menu, and clicking"
in between "have" and "on" there was meant to be an image from http://www.phalacee.com/dl/eg.gif

-- and the "kinda like the "Products" section here" was meant to link to http://www.phalacee.com/j2/
